Im selling my 20"-24" wels catfish she a female , great feeder will eat from hand .

looking for £125 no offers . what i payed just need the room.

pick up only UK .

also shes in cold water can be made to go in tropical tank .

she will get large around 4ft ,

In tropical heated water and the space and about 30 years of it ,mabey then it might reach 7ft-8ft but a 10ft would be classed as a monster . theres not many that big in the large river of spain and france . In the uk the britsh record was just over 6ft long the cold water dosent let them grow to the monster of spain in the rivers just think though they have billions of gallons , so they can grow massive .

They still get very large in cold water. There is one at Windermere aquarium in the Lakes and it is kept in cold water. I would say it was arround the 8ft mark. I just think its a little misleading to put its MAX size as 4ft.

there used to be 2 - 6ft wells @ brighton sealife centre and tbh the tank size was questionable ! so they wernt in optimal conditions but still reached that size !

thanks ,i dident say it would max out at 4ft that she would get around 4ft i mean ino she will get bigger if in the right conditions .
but im just trying to sell my fish .

Ye sorry i didnt mean to come across as a bolshy arse trying to get in the way of you selling the fish. It is a rare opportunity and if i had a tank/pond big enough i would buy it. Its a great price £125 is a STEAL.
