I'm setting up a 55g salt
It has 2.5 inches of aragonite 90lbs or live rock
It seems a waste to just have 1 frogfish in a tank like that...
but I really like the frogfish
I know they can eat anything their size.
I'd like to have a blennie or two and some gobies too but....
I'm not sure if it'll fit.
any ideas?

blennies and gobies are a definite no-no

anything the size of them will do...
wrasses, anthias, puffers, angels, other frogs/anglers, lionfish, squirrelfish, goatfish etc..

I want a pic of him please! I had a huge FF along time ago. He was my favorite. I'd feed him gold fish so I could watch him work. I had a Lion fish, Harliquin Tusk, Picaso Trigger, I think I had a wrass too. I then bought a v-tailed Grouper and the FF tried to eat it. I lost both from that.... Be sure to go large. The FF's mouth is as big as his large protion of his body.

I'm thinking of getting a fuman chu lion a frogfish and a moray eel
thoughts?

Yes, skip the gobies and blennies. Be careful with angels, butterflies, puffers as they can nip at the frogfish. I have an eel with my frogfish.
What kind of frogfish are you getting?

what kind of eel as well...

A 55 isn't really all that big

it'd be a smaller moray
a snowflake perhaps ..
although i would need a bigger tank probably.....

what about a wolf eel?
I know they're more aggressive than the morays since morays primarily eat crustaceans
would it be possible to keep a wolf and a frogfish?

not sure on the frogfish type yet
right now I'm just planning
figuring stuff out

Wolf eel can get large, and they have a big mouth. I don't think I would trust one, but I've never kept one.
Morays will eat about anything, not just crustaceans. A snowflake will be ok in a 55 gal for awhile.

If you have a large enough tank, say a 90 gallon, would it be alright to have other fish like blennies/gobys with one?
