Ok I need some help.
Are these prices out of range?
Should each fish be seperate?
Howdy, neighbor!

No, I'd say your prices are pretty fair and actually show (to me) you care about the fish, not money.

I don't think there is a need to advertise the fish separately.

The thing is the cats grow very large and are common and the few people who have large enough tanks and ponds probably mostly want something more special or more exotic. Then there are others, scavengers - plenty on Craigslist, who'd take them if they were free (but you may not know what they will do to them).

The cichlids are common too. The midas and the JD are priced to go, I'd say. The green texas are available from local vendors for under $10, so these are likely overpriced IME. I could be wrong. I just bought a 3" red texas for $9 from an LFS in Ft. Myers. I realize it's a different fish.

I think with some patience, someone should surely take your cichlids. The cats you may need luck or be prepared to wait for a long time for someone to buy them.

Now, I run a professional fish rescue and a public aquarium 4 h away from you in Naples, FL (yes, you can consider me a slightly more glorified scavenger :) ). This could be your last resort, as I can't pay you and, moreover, these fish are not worth my time and money to drive to Orlando to pick up. But I am always the happiest when people find proper good homes for their pets and are paid back some. To me, this is the fairest outcome.

Thank you for the advice and your time. We will have to stop by the next time were in the south.

I had 22 of the cichlids, now I think there might be 15. Probably need to separate these fishes.
I have lost the iridescent shark. No matter what I put on top of it's tank or which tank it was in it kept jumping out. Didn't find a buyer or adoption in time. I don't have the red tail anymore, thank goodness, the red devil kept trying to rip it's fins off.

So, I now only have the JD and the devil, in separate tanks. Still looking for a buyer for the red devil.

A mixed bag of good and bad news. I am glad things are mostly moving along in the wanted direction.

I am fuzzy on the Marketplace rules but perhaps when the number of fish offered originally changes a lot, perhaps another sale thread with updated stock and prices is feasible.

Good luck in any case.
