Description:
two-fishes.jpg

Need to find a new home for a total of 7 Myleus or Myloplus Schomburgkii aka Blue Hook (Not RED), Wide Bar Silver Dollars. I need to reduce the bio-load in my tank. They have out-grown it. One of them is close to 6 inches and are very dark with red coloring on their neck region. These fish are best kept in groups. Pick up only in Yorba Linda, California only. Entire 7 fish are $175.00 which is only $25.00 ea. That's A LOT less than I paid for them. First come first served, I will not hold for anyone.

Pictures include the fish for sale. These photos are not taken from the internet.

Pick up only, so I am located just a min from the Nixon Library which is at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda, CA 92886. This will give you an idea of how long it will take you to get to my place.

These fish are found in some stores, but they are never cheap. Serious inquiry's only. I have posted a video of less than 1 minute of these fish on my YouTube channel so if you're interested you can check this out first. I have put the an ad on Craig's List but prefer to sell to someone here on MFK since I know this is the place where I'm more likely to find someone who knows something about this particular breed of fish. Here's the video:

Glws. Such a steal at that price.

Nice group of wide bars and price, and good luck with the sale!
Thanks, it's always hard to say goodbye to fish that are a part of us, but the price is only to separate the people who know the fish from those who would not appreciate what they have.

Don't know what sort of tank would be minimum size for these fellas. I have them in a 150G right now but they definitely will need something bigger than that to get the best out of them. If anyone knows what a half-dozen Blue Hooks should be housed in, please feel free to chime in.

Would you be willing to sell 3 of them?
It's possible. I have someone interested who is coming to see them this weekend. He may take them all. However, if he changes his mind, perhaps then I would consider. However, I want to give first dibs to those who would want to see the group of 7 all together. They do better in groups.

I can't remember if I mentioned this but there's an add on Craig's List, and that's where I can be contacted via text.

Killer deal glws these are half off considering the size

Yep, about half of what I paid one year ago when they were half the size. But just need the tank space at the moment. It's just not possible to get a bigger tank at this time.
