Levels are good
If yes, what is your nitrite?
Acceptable
If yes, what is your nitrate?
Acceptable
If I did not test my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
What percentage of water do you change?
21-30%
How frequently do you change your water?
Every week
If I do not change my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
So last night, I had went to my aquarium room to feed my fish. Unfortunately, I've been on call this week (diesel mechanic) and I haven't been as attentive to my aquarium as I should have been.

I noticed my dojo loaches were looking... sick. Then it dawned on me that it was a fungal infection. I immediately scooped them out and put them in my hospital tank. Treated them with API's pimafix (which I read isn't good enough later). They passed away earlier this evening and i went back to petsmart to get better medicine, Fritz's Maracyn Oxy and some actual aquarium salt.

When I got home, i realized a clown loach, two of my balas, and my red spotted severum are starting to show signs of infection.

At this rate, I'm going to assume that they all are infected. Treated the tank with Fritz and was wondering if I should add aquarium salt too.

What I'm worried about is how will the salt affect the following fish.
2 Burmese Upside Down Catfish
1 Red Spotted Severum
2 Electric Blue Acaras
6 Bloodfin Tetras
2 siamese algae eaters
2 otos
3 bala sharks
2 clown loaches

Also, just asking should I do a salt bath or is the Fritz enough? I removed any chemical filter media from my filters too.

Please, any advice is welcomed and thank you for your time.

Edit: i did a 35% water change right after I had discovered the infection. Should i do daily water changes?

When it comes to fungal infections, I’d be dosing a good amount of salt, about 5 grams a litre and changing at least 80% of the water.

Sorry, ****ty phone camera makes it hard for pics. I'll try in the morning when i got some sunlight to help. Best I can describe it is like this.

On my golden dojos, the fins had this white cloudy looking stuff on them and they were red around the base. Same stuff on the mouths and body.

I noticed my bala has the same stuff around his face.

Damn, 80%? I'm definitely doing another water change tomorrow anyways. I was just worried about stressing the fish out even more.

Yep. Influx of new water every day sure helps a lot.

I apologize for the lack of pictures. When i find one passed, I've got them buried before I even think of pictures.

Did do an 80% water change today. Gonna let it settle a minute before another treatment.

I promise, I'll get some pictures as soon as I can.

Spots on my Red Spotted Severum.

Found one of my clown loaches dead under an ornament earlier when I was cleaning.

I thought it was suspicious when i hadn't seen him in a few hours.
