I have now decided to steer away from getting Gymnogeophagus Balzanii for my tank. I have the opportunity however to get some more tapajos, albino tapajos and potentially winemilleri, steindachneri, and Sveni on an order. I had a group of 1cm tapajos fry but lost most of them a few months ago due to disease which has now been treated. I have three remaining but they obviously do better in larger groups. The remaining three are at the 2-3 cm mark, one is pushing 3.5 tbf I would say. Would I be able to introduce some more 3cm tapajos and two albino tapajos (4cm)? Thanks for any replies. Another additional question that I also have is whether I could grow out sveni, winemilleri, etc in the same tank as the tapajos (all at 3cm to begin) ?

30 gallons (imperial) with just the three 2-3cm geos atm. They are all going to be moved into a 150 gallon in the next year. Have three tanks of a similar size which I’m going to seperate each species out into as groups for the time being.

If it’s going to be a year anymore do not get anymore until you have the bigger tank. You’ll have 3 4in fish in a 30 already which is overstocked heavily. Just wait till you have the big tank set up. This hobby is about patience
