Brief summary until i have more time.
I was previously an active hobbyist in freshwater, life became nonstop, kids, wife, typical family stuff. Recently found myself the perfect house that allows me to have both an office, and a decent place to begin practicing my favorite hobby again.

Currently i have a 75gal community tank that's up and running, a 55gal hospital tank i had to throw together for some homeless plecos, &
"135gal Oceanic 72x18x24" and a
"150gal Oceanic 72x18x27".
Both currently under test and restoration/build.

I'm using this thread as a type of journal, and most importantly to share knowledge. I welcome any and all comments, i have no problems with "hijacking" my thread as long as its useful knowledge that doesn't contain any drama. Lol. I'll try and update as often as possible, I also have some general videos on YouTube I'll be sharing. Nothing fancy, im kind of a cheap, diy redneck. So to speak. Just a man with some patience, and a hobby..

Thanks guys! Here's a pic of the family's DIY princess castle that we just finished up for the 75. My 2yo daughter runs around the house screaming "Fish" "Awesome" Lol

Unique is what we were after. I know it might look a bit funny atm, but in the tank one cured and planted out, hopefully it'll fit right in. Plenty of hiding places that's for sure. Lol.

I've heard many good things about bamboo, plan on adding a couple more once the castle is in. I just added 18 fish, going to wait for the bio load to catch up a bit, then drop the castle in with a bunch more pants, and the remaining fish stock at the same time to help curve any possible aggression towards the new tenants. Although I don't really expect anything significant.

Also to make it easier, im in the process of uploading 1 current video of a complete walk through of everything im working with. One that i just filmed about 10 minutes ago. Once it uploads I'll post a link for review.

Looking forward to the video. It might be worth mentioning that if you only keep tetra your plants will eventually outgrow the bioload that the fish produce. I didn't see the entire stock, so I could have certainly missed something.

You'll probably find allot of things i could be mentioning, lol. But its impossible for me to cover 1/4 of what i should be due to severe time restraints, and the thought of time spent writing and recording when i should be reading and studying myself. Plants will definitely outgrow the bio load of a tetra tank, but This is the tank near a main entrance to my house. One everybody will see, my goal is to captivate them into the hobby. and what do most people like to see? LOTS of fish.,Just like my 2yo daughter. My main point for my 75 is to show that over stocking is benign, in a few circumstances with the right fish and setup it can be achieved while the fish still able to thrive. By overstocking, i simply mean above the standard 1in of fish per gallon. Like i said, lots i could go over, but simply don't have the time to cover, and still be able to do it. Best thing i can say is, you'll see over time. Lol. Thanks for the comments and compliments though, keepem coming! Btw, here's the latest vid!
