I want to set up a ghost shrimp hatchery so I don't have to keep going to the store for feeders. Has anyone here done a ghost shrimp hatchery tank? What are the basics?

Add shrimp, feed shrimp, clean tank.

You now have more shrimp.

Just care for them well and feed them well and they breed easily.

Not sure if it was ghost shrimp or not, but just double check they actually breed in freshwater, coz they may need brackish?

I agree with that actually ^

You would be better off breeding cherry shrimp for shrimp feeders.

I agree they would breed faster, but also depends on the size of fish hes feeding if they would be suitable... another option if they are legal in your area and you have large enough fish is marble crays... possibly the easiest invert ever to breed...

Too bad you're not closer, I'd just give you my whore shrimp, she's always getting herself knocked up. =\
I bet my Dojos think she's a walking buffet.
