Growing up I loved to do mental projects on slow weekends, a lot of mathematical stuff. So I decided to work up a glass thickness chart using calculations from a site named Omni. You can put in any safety factor you want. I used the recommended 3.8 factor. The industry standard is at 2+ (in parentheses rounded off). There's a considerable thickness difference for panels. Good luck with that over 75 gallons if you like sleeping with one eye open!
Geometry and ratio along with height affects total gallons. Some sizes you lose and some you gain based on dimensions. The worst ratios lose the most gallons (35, 100, 110, 125). All odd number model gallons!
The second part of this post I'll have to format differently since I can't tab here. Stay tuned. All calculations coming up.
