WOW! A pair already? CRAZY?!!?!?!? I have 2 that are about 4" or so and I think I have 1 Male 1 female. At one point it looked like they were displaying some courting/mating behavior but nothing since. Good luck with the eggs!

Well, it's not letting me upload files right now. :irked:

So about the eggs, probably eaten. :(

I will be moving in a few weeks, so I wouldn't want to risk the fry while they were still so fragile anyway during transportation. I will be taking out the extra Gold Saums and Silver Dollars then when we move.

I'll probably change the arrangement of things also once the tank is in its new home.

I've added the driftwood already, I will post a pic of it once it allows me to.

Thank you for chiming in!

I just discovered the second batch of eggs, it's from the same couple so now I know for sure that I will be keeping these two GTs only(instead of the five I have right now).

They actually laid the eggs in a different area this time, since I moved the fake plants around(yes, they're fake ). Their new crib is on the left side corner with the plants on the side of the rock. I guess the formula is: corner + plants + rock = breeding area(with a 50% cold water change as the trigger).

The mom is always on guard while dad keeps the rest away. Sometimes he completely forgets about keeping others away(just swimming around without a care; breaktime?) then the mom reminds him somehow to get back to work :nutkick: lol.

They are still pretty small (3"male & 2"female; man they grow slow) and I hope they become awesome parents one day!

So there's the update. I do have a Sultan Pleco on there as well, but is inside the cave 100%, if not 90%, of the time. I hope it's ok.

We will be moving in the next week or two, so look forward to a change in the set up! I will take out the other 3 GTs then, not sure if I should keep all 5 SDs yet.

Thank you for checking in! Some feedback would be really appreciated! :)

Nice setup along with some nice looking green terrors. I've been following this thread for a while because I'm thinking of going with some GTs here pretty soon. You can really see the difference in color between the alpha male and the others.

Yes, I think I got lucky with that GT, I saw it at PetSmart and it was the only one like that, so I had to get it with some others for possible mates. They are slowly growing but it's nice to see how far they've come! I have to say that this set-up is not as easy to clean/vacuum hahaha

Thanks for following! Post a pic here once you get your GTs! :D

Found em at PetSmart huh? Our PetSmart out here don't carry Green Terrors, mostly Jacks and Oscars with the occasional Red Devil muts lol. I go to this mom and pops fish shop out here for fish and keep the PetSmart for the food cause it's fresher. Will post some pics if and when I do get some GT's. By the way how do you vacuum that tank, if at all?
