I got a 55 that is cycled (also equipped with an eheim canister a top fin 60 hang on the back filter an AC110 hang on the back filter and an under gravel filter) the tank is holding 8 African cichlids. I plan on having about 15. I however want some good cleaner fish like cory's or my preference would be some catfish like a euruptus feather fin catfish I love those.

Thanks fellas and ladies ,
Tcarswell

My cichlids are some labs and julies Very passive little fish.
Thanks all ,

Man any cat really that won't eat em in my tanks I have a rainbow shark syriped Raphael and a plec one most cichlids don't bother non territorial fish guess they don't see a threat if they get to close for comfort they might just chase them away nothing more as long as their not food sized

Panda corrys..just cause they are a hoot to watch.

What do they do? An active fish would be great. What about clown loaches? This is a grow out tank. To a 100 then much much bigger.

Some syno petricola or multis would be good.

If you have fairly neutral, soft water, and don't buffer, then Clown loaches could work. I have a featherfin Syno. and he is awesome. Any of the smaller Synos. will work. Heck, you can even do a larger sp. Syno. if the tank is getting upgraded down the road. Just be cautious of small Julies. and larger cats.

syno. petricolas are pretty neat. But if you plan to breed any of your tangs, i wouldn't suggest any bottom cleaner, as they will find the fry quite tasty.
