It is saltwater, and it is quite rare (but can be kept alive in the aquarium) and be prepared to pay big bucks for this.
Photoblepharon palpebratus flashlight fish, post another one, probably a freswhater fish would be more fitting. but nice fish nonetheless, not too rare, we've had them in the past and not too expensive either!
