Gulf Toadfish

I was doing some bank fishing under a bridge in Panama City, Florida in brackish waters and I caught about three of these along with some lady fish. The toads were about 8" in length and put up a decent fight. I wanted to keep one of the "toad fish" but when I went to put it on a stringer it bit the **** out of me. These things are pretty brutal. Anyone try one in an aquarium? I'm planning on giving it a try when I go back.

You need a big filter system - they eat like crazy, grow fast, and poop a ton. I wouldn't do it in anything smaller than a 125

I had a small one (4-5") for awhile. They aren't too active so you could use a tank smaller than 125 gal for one.
