HELP!! All my mystery snails are above the water line?

So I just found this rn. All the snails are at the water surface. Please help! The only thing I did different is did a 30 percent water change 2 days ago and today dosed a little more flourish excel than I usually do (1.5 times)

Rn I increased the agitation in my tank (I believe the liquid carbon I dosed causes lower oxygen?) and removed the lid temp from my tank

Snails And Flourish Excel

I've been dosing our tanks w/ Flourish Excel. Overdosing our 29gal and have noticed that the trumpet snails have been climbing the tank glass during the day. Usually it's just 1 maybe 2 that I'll spot during the day, but since ODing the tank, they're ALL over the tank walls. Does Excel hurt them?

Hello; Did a brief search and found some references to snails and excel. The above link the better of the bunch. I personally do not have an answer for you but am guessing another water change (WC) without any more of the flourish excel might be a way to go.
I was a little surprised to find references to the use of it to kill algae. There appears to be something in the excel that can irritate snails, at least in some of the posts found.

my snails come up to the top of the tank when I feed my gourami fish flakes, they even crawl upside down on the surface of the water to eat the flakes.
