Hi guys, looking for a pleco that maxes out around 8-10" for my 90gal community tank. The tank has a large piece of manzanita driftwood and I tried keeping royals, chocolate, and common plecos. I would like to stay away from all of them as those plecos produced huge amounts of waste where I had to do WC every 2-3 days. Just looking for a pleco or any kind of fish that can keep my 90g algae clean but not too much waste either. Thanks for your help!:headbang2

BN plecos

I have some viejas, 2 fhs, some and some blood parrots. I will give the BNs a shot, thanks!

I have BN, Hypans, and Rubberlips. The Rubberlips one seem to do well with cichlids, since they prefer a meatier diet.

algae plecos for sure are good but a 8 to 10 inch pleco would be..idk a L114 my favorite pleco (leopard pleco)..

Yes L114 is the first thing I was thinking about as well, although I had one that was 12 inch, but they are really slow growers I believe.

what fish is already in there? depending on what fish you have though...

If it were me, id avoid anything that can get to 8-10" if waste is a factor. My 5" L204 produces an enormous amount of waste. A large L114 will create a bit more, although it is my fav pleco. L264's only get to about 6"

BN might be your best bet if cleaning is an issue.
