i have 2 silver arowanas 16" long and i had them since they were 3" they are in a 220 gallon tank
and now in the past few days they are fighting like maniacs
one of them have a few bloody scales and the other one has the skin around her mouth peeling off. but i notice that the one with the bloody scales is the one that start the fight all the time
what should i do

with my silver arowanas i have
5 tin foil
1 silver dollar
8 clown loaches
a few crayfish
2 bala sharks
1 big white gold fish
a pair of breeding convicts (for food for the rest of the fish)
i have never seen any fighting with any of the fish so far

first thing is you need to change your name as your the reason it didn't work when i joined...

as for the aros...keep an eye on them...they may just be redoing the higher achy...if it gets to bad they will need to be seperated...some just can't play nice...

you have not seen fighting with the others cause they are not in direct compitition for food like another aro is...

if you were giving me food in my mouth all my life i would let you pet me too...:grinno:

As I have advised before, when raising multiple arowanas together you need to make sure you have a means to separate them if it goes wrong. Adding more may help or it may lead to having to find away to house even more aro separately.

Do you have another tank that you can move the aggressor to for awhile?
