Hi, i keep group of WF Heros Curare around 1 Year. They are in group of 5 And size when i was bought then was around 10 Cm. I would like to share my experience i also would love to take some experience from others. Till now i have alot question about Gender Because Curare are somethink special. I will put few pictures of my group and i will be happy If somebody can say me more about theese fishes.

this one i think will be female, different shape of body fins And markings have different But still i cannot confirm

After big domination of biggest male i was forced separated group And keep Just female with him She showed colours And wants breed now is tank calm And male starts react to female. I hope now when they have tank only for them selfs Maybe it will help to push them for breeding.

I tried this in a 220 gallon (72” x 24”) and the male slaughtered the female. I came home to find her with no fins or scales. They get very aggressive when defending eggs/fry. When they have no tankmates to use that energy on, they sometimes turn on each other. Be prepared to separate them if needed.

Thanks for your advice. I have similiar size for pair And extra tank ready If needed. Today i made this video Where they Both start cleaning spot And dancing around. Female have ovipositor down. I hope they will lay soon
