had to move him on due to moving home and sadly it died, I was gutted to find out but here he is

Truly beautiful! My I ask how it died and how old it was? Moving big fishes isn’t easy especially ones that jumps.

I had to move home and I took it to my local fish shop where I knew one of the workers kept large fish like this so I trusted him. He put it in with his puffer and apparently they got on ok but after a few months they started picking at each other so he had to give it to someone else who had a large tank with 2 other Asian arowana in, not long after this the 2 aros in the tank killed him. I was truly gutted when I was told

I had him for 3 years almost 4 and after I moved he probably lasted another 8-10 months.

Sucks big time! Sorry for the loss bro! Man what took you so long to setup another tank, or you were just busy at the time. Something like that I can’t blame them/helpers for helping out but at the same time I would be kicking myself in the effen Ass!

For example I just lost my L600 that i grew out from 1” to about 4”, I put it in a bigger tank just to have it died in few days. It was my fault for leaving the power head off at night and he went in it.

When I moved I didn’t have the space for my large 8 foot ( and still don’t ) but I’m currently sorting out my garden and installing a shed which is going to be my new fish shed

I currently have a 180 litre with some small cichlids in and when I set it up it brought home how much I miss my large American cichlids and Aro

and yes I was so gutted when I was told he had died but trust me I went over everything that could have been done but where I was moving there was noway I could have took my monster tank.

I do kick myself lol
