I don’t know much about convicts and don’t really care for them but was glancing in the tank at my lfs and seen these 2 guys who look unlike any convict I’ve ever seen, but I’m not quite sure they’re HRP.....would love to get some help thanks

they told me a guy they knew real well with over 40 tanks passed away and his son brought them coolers full of fish and these were his.

This is a female I brought home also which I do believe is a convict but while in the tank she looked way different than all the other female convicts as far as color but doesn’t have the blue jaw or the color in the fins like the HRP...was hoping to breed them but I don’t want to mix them and make more mutts

The female is either a standard Convict (nigrofasciata) or possibly a Amatitlania Kanna, yet another cousin of the Convict.
