I have a 90 gal and inside I have 2 baby datnoid, 1 RTG arowana, marbled goby and Paroon shark, all small size. I wonder what type of stingray I could put in my tank, and will the stingray sting the arowana? Cuz some of rays barb is pretty sharp and I don't want to cause injuries to my RTG.

An 18" wide tank will only get you about a year with the larger species and maybe 2 years with the smaller species of ray. I wouldn't recommend putting a ray in a 90 gal unless you have a good home for it after it out grows the tank.

a 90g tank only lasted me 9 months with my retics. within that time they had outgrown it and had to be transferred over to my 300g.
for a larger species, maybe half that time. the size of tank is not really much time for any species of ray.

The tank sounds overstocked already, don't add a ray and you need at least 300gal and that may not be enough (mine won't be for much longer).

Most rays get 30" females get bigger than that

We are always seeing post that some ray get huge. But does anybody here have them that big? I have not seen a ray bigger than 24" on this club. If they are huge explain how long it takes. There's got to be at least 50 people with small Motoro none bigger than 18"

LOL! That tank isn't big enough for any of those fish small or not! Doesn't even come close to housing a ray! A 230 gallon wouldn't even house these fish you have after a couple years. Paroon sharks grow fast and big and will probably eat everything in your tank before they even have a chance to out grow the tank. If it doesn't eat them then the fish will eventually not be able to even turn around in your tank and even end up be stunted! Hate to say but you need to do a little more research on housing big fish like this!

Datnoids-18"
Marbled goby-26"
RTG-36"
Paroon shark-48" plus in aquarium...100" in the wild.
