A good three weeks ago, I purchased a 210 gallon aquarium. The pet store had to order it in. Her supplier wont ship it because of the weather. On an off note, i'm a bit unhappy that the supplier will only ship one day a week, and for the past two weeks that one day has been to snowy.

Alright, got off topic. Anyways, how heavy will the aquarium be when I pick it up? It is an all glass aquarium. I beleive the dimensions are 72x24x29.

Would two guys be able to lift this thing, or would I need more people?

Also, I purchased a stand with this aquarium. It was a really expensive stand at over $300. I'm assuming that this will be a nice stand with doors and everything. am I correct to assume this?

the pet store doesn't have any photos or anything of what i'm getting

Depends on the manufactuer . I had an oceanic 180 that weighed about 500 lbs it was a real ballbuster. but my noname 180 weighs probably 300 so i would say between 400 and 450. just a rough guess though, almost all stands have doors so it would be safe to assume it will have doors. bet your stoked and the waiting sucks I had the same thing happen to me so i got my money back and bought local

I recently gave away glass tank that is 5x2x2. 2 people moved it down 1 flight of stairs. I'm assuming the 220 is about 150-200 lbs more so may 1 person on each corner should be good.

It depends on who the 2 guys are. Are you able to hold and walk carrying close to 200lbs by yourself?(1/2 the tank weight) If not, the more hands the better.
You're a brave man buying something for over $300 sight unseen. Alot of MFKers build their own stands (myself included). But I would hope at that price tag it would be a decent stand.
Good luck and take your time moving the tank. Last thing you want to do is drop it or bang it against something like a doorway.

I am stoked. I'm sick of this bad weather too. I need to find out the brand. all I know is that the supplier is out of texas.

I am buying it locally, but the local pet store has to get it from their supplier in texas.
