Aqadvisor is saying this tank is overstocked - do you agree or disagree?

Stock is:
3 jewel cichlids
2 acaras
2 firemouths
2 blood parrots
1 blood red severum

Hmmm, I never realized jewels weren't SA. It seems that if I take out one parrot and the jewels it will be fine

definitely agree with the poster above, leave out the jewels, also what is the filtration on that tank going to be? With that many fish you'll need to have around 8-10x per hour

Most of those fish are usually verrrry laid back. The firemouth might give you some trouble when fully grown, and the parrot fish can be all bark but no bite... but you have some pretty safe choices there. The jewels though, can be nasty, and they are from Africa. And yes, when these fish are fully grown, it would be considered to be "overstocked".

Yeah, decided I'll take out the jewels and one of the blood parrots. Filtration will be a big DIY Canister filter

Haven't built it yet but look at DIY Aquapros canister filter, that's the exact one I'm doing just a little bigger

I would not have stocked it like that. But if they are coexisting together then I would leave them be. But do not add anything else and be extra diligent about your maintenance.
