how much gallons does a spotted gar need?

i was thinking of geting a spotted gar and i wanted to know how big of a pond do you need to keep this beast of a fish?

depending on the tank, they can get VERY big. mine was only about 5 inches long...
It's best to have them in hundreds of gallons for life. how big do you plan on getting the gar at first?

im planning to ship it in and im building a 2,000 gallon pond for a rtc 2 silver aros and 2 pacu and i wanted to know if i can add a spotted gar the pond is 13' x 6' x 3.5'
