I saw the video of your Oscar and it is definitely big and bulky! I think it's worth depends on several things like; the potential buyer, demand of the fish in your area, whether you are willing to ship or not. A fish like that in my area would go for about $25-$30. Most people here wouldn't know the difference between a wild-caught fish and a farm raised one. There's not a serious following in the aquarium hobby here. I've actually seen Oscars almost as big as yours be given away free because people were not willing to buy them.

I agree.

mine is 14" almost 15" female and ive had it for almost 4 years and shes wild tiger oscar has a little more color then yours tho

an 18 inch Oscar! WOW the biggest I seen EVER was 16 and that one was 12 years old, so Congrats! and to be honest I am not sure how much they are worth at that sizeI have a Albino Tiger Oscar that is 2+ years old and is 14 or so inches , and she was bought at petsmart so she was cheap but to be honest she is my favorite fish I have ever had , It would take a serious Chunk of money for me to even think about selling and even then I don't think I would ... I would have a hard time putting a dollar amount on something that you cared for for so long ... I guess I am just a big softy ....

I never see that color for sale and have wanted one ever since seeing them in Axelrod's book in the late 70s. The only time I've seen them in person is in Shedd Aquarium.

it is a tough 1 to call als, have you had much interest?

We must bare in mind it is only an oscar even if it is wild, i would think £60 would be a good price, a friend traded in a 14" which was pretty rare and the shop gave £20 credit which is unheard of in a shop for an oscar then that was sold straight away and they sell them for atleast double what they give you.

Why you getting rid anyway they have wicked personality?
