Ok, to make more room in my basement,( for more tank's and a pond upgrade) if course.... I need to get some idea's on how to turn my pool table sideways without paying a company to come tear it down, turn it, rebuild it, and charge me out the butt.

It is a 8'5" x 4'9" table, 3 piece slate. Older table, 4legs (4 1/2" x 4 1/2"), It is perfectly level now, and I just don't want to make it all uneven....
So far my only idea is to clamp some device to the legs(both legs on the end's, not lengthwise) then take two car jacks and lift both sides up at the same time and turn.

Any idea's, please help!!! I want to do this very soon!!!!

get some dollys lift up one end put dollys under both feet lift up the other put dollys under both feet but be careful because it will get away.

But when you lift up one end, then the other. Won't that mess up the levelness of the 3 piece slate. Didn't think of pallet jack's though not a bad idea.

Yeah, lol. I thought of that, but if we just slide and twist it, I'm afraid it will be x-tremely unlevel by the time we are done....

Id just pay some company to do it.Get beer and pizza and invite 6 so kind friends over.

Yeah, def. a poss. but the last company that moved my pool table charged me $400 to move it(no matter how far within a certain distance). It just suck's the distance this time is less than 10 feet.

Look for a part time job in a pool/billiards table company. Work for a couple of days or until you are finally exposed to the assembly/disassembly of a pool table and then you quit. Then apply the acquired knowledge :0

I am a bouncer at a billard hall and have moved many tables the same size u said and how we do it is with 2 car jacks and 4 casters 1 under each leg and roll her away just raise both jacks at the same time and it will not distort your table it's a breeze u just need 1 other person that can handle a jack.
