Howdy folks from Cheyenne Wyoming where the wind is always blowing one way or the other.
By way of intro; I have kept fish only aquariums in the past, both FW and SW with moderate success, but that was many years ago. My last previous tank was a 110 gal SW stocked with wild caught specimens from the East China Sea while stationed in Okinawa. The setup was rudimentary by todays standards but I suffered very few losses to other than parasitic infections for the 5 years the tank was running.
I have recently restarted my interest in keeping aquaria (primary interest now is FW planted tanks) and a search for adult, informed discussion led me to your site.
I currently am running a 75 gal stocked primarily with Kribensis, Australian Rainbows, Buenos Aires Tetras and a group of various cleanup crew and a variety of plantings that seem to be a combination of hideout and salad depending on the stock.
2nd tank is 35 Gal stocked with Danios, a few Mollies / Wags, a Farlowella, a small group of Glowlight Tetras and a cleanup crew.
You'll notice a pair of Angels in both pics, they have spent time in each tank but are currently in a 16 gal breeder. I also have a 15 gal live bearers tank that is still in fake plant mode and not worthy of a photo.
I am absolutely amazed at the knowledge and experience that is obvious in many of the posters here and I look forward to learning quite a bit more about this great hobby from you and perhaps sharing my experiences when appropriate (doubt it will be anytime soon as I have so much to learn).
Cheers ............ Rocky
