First time here. And in need of some advice .
I'm setting up a ibc tote to raise/farm silver perch. Would have regular water changes (weekly approx 10%) to water my Garden.
Details of a set up I have in mind is in the attached picture.
The spacing of it is not accurate.
Details:
1000L ibc
2 x 220L barrels.
First is a trickle filter that returns to an empty barrel with a return pump.
My question really is, is this a good set up?
Would gravity alone be enough for my filtration. And would it be able to keep up if I put a strong return pump. Approx 2000L an hour.
I plan on having 50 silver perch fingerlings .And will reduce in numbers as time progresses.
I would like to do this on the weekend.
So help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
