I'm new to the guessing fish by seeing vent system can anybody help?

Heyy can someone please tell me whether my fish's gender by looking at its vent

The slightly triangulated vent shape makes me think male, also it’s similar size to the bum hole, but there is glare obscuring a clear view of it.
What type of fish is it?

It's a texas can you tell about its gender?
I'm thinking to breed because I already have a female if this is male I'll move them both to a seperate tank

Like I said, the actual vent has reflective glare right on the spot. It does appear to be a male from what I can see. Can you post a pic of the fish in it's tank so we can assess the overall shape of the body & fins as well?

Put them together in a separate tank. You will find out for certain that way
