Inline Heaters

I just found my eheim heater dead(I'm sure it's only a couple years old) so after 20 something years I thought I'd try an inline heater.

Only ones I can find here are Hydor and Sunsun. Any nice shiny cool 230v inline/external heaters I'm missing?

Sunsun's looking nice and shiny, but since it's the only one I can find...

I have used the Hydro, and would suggest with it, to put a check valve under it, on the water influent.
If power goes out, or your pump stops the check valve holds water in the heater and keeps it from burning up, without water it quickly fries..

As a general rule, I consider getting a1year out of any heater is all I expect, although I've had a few last longer.

Pay particular attention to the hose size on your canister and the available options for the heater you're looking at.

And you can always make your own...

Not a concern with a canister.

pretty easy to make one with uniseals and pvc if you want to keep it reasonably cheap.
It is, but I don't want to really spend the time making something, just want something plug and play and can only really find 2 options. Looking like I'll just grab one and see how it goes.
