Is it normal for bichirs to not eat fish fillet

Hello there I have 8 bichirs and 5 snakeheads who will not eat fish fillets but eat only shrimp how to make them eat other foods

Fish may naturally eat other fish, but they most definitely do not naturally eat fillets.

Try some chunks of whole tilapia.

I have a few wild caught bichirs that don't touch anything meaty (frozen fish or live food). They'll only eat variety of pellets. Some bichirs will have their own preferences. If you want them to eat other stuff. Likely will need to starve/stop feeding them shrimp for a period of time.
