Sorry to say but this species has been banned for export by Brazil for the last 12 years or so, same is true for cephalosilurus fowleri and many others. There were a couple of keepers in the U.S. that managed to breed them in captivity since the ban but that was many years ago and haven't seen any come up for sale since...

That's a bummer! I had no idea they were banned. Such a shame they are definitely some interesting fish, would have loved to keep a pair.
