Congratulations on the new tank. FYI, I have been keeping fish for fifty years and never owned more than a 125. Some times more is better than bigger! Besides, if you can comfortably house the fish you want to keep that is all that matters. Good luck with it.

I've been in the hobby for a long time too. My biggest tank is a 120 gal. Not everyone aspires to keep a Red Tail Catfish.
I like your tank. It has a lot of potential.

Nice! What do you plan on putting in it?
Pleco
bluegill (water will be cool)
2 turtles - yep, sounds crazy but these ones are either really lazy or just don't care, because iv'e kept all sorts of fish with them, including cichlids and goldfish, and neither of which have ever gotten a bite in them.

sorry i didn't update earlier, but i put the turtles, pleco, and goldfish in a few days ago, and it looks great!
