That is a nice looking Jardini. I've never seen one having the blue edge of the fins. Did you get that in the US?
Thanks guys. I was a little surprised myself when he first started showing blue, the bigger he gets the more blue seems to show (blue edging seems to get thicker). Curious to see how this colouring pans out the older he gets.
I got him in Dubai, from a LFS I did not expect to sell these kinds of fish. I think I paid around 70 - 80 USD for him (250 AED). (side note - I was thinking of doing some documenting and showing the MFKers the different types of fish shops here and what they sell.)

The coloring may be due to food?
He gets shrimp/prawns from the supermarket daily.
Dried foods are all Hikari, also daily. Carnisticks occasionally, but most of the pellets are algae based. Sinking cichlid excel, and algae wafers. He usually gets the first gulp of these as soon as I throw them in, with the SDs eating everything else very quickly.

That is some cool coloring on the jar also!
Yeah no problem. Ill have a look and post it. Gonna take a few more weeks as I have to gather material from all the different places when I get around to visiting them.
