koi turning white

one of my koi looks like its turning white.like pale.
been like this for a week or more.
i dont use meds
and i dont want to put him in his own tank cus im sure he would die then without his friends.
just wanted to see what you guys thought.
from what ive seen,if a fish is sick it dies quite fast.
this guy seems fine other then the paleness.
he was really orange and black.

koi like most gold fish can change colors based on alota things.

but this isnt like that.
its every color everywhere.

he should be as colorful as the other one.

and he is still eating and swimming normal.

Koi often change in coloration as they age, getting paler or even turning white is one of the more common problems. As long as your nitrates and pH are fine and stable about the only thing you can do is make sure that the fish get supplemental feedings of color enhancing foods.

but changing that fast isnt odd?

no, ive had goldfish go from black to pure white in about 3 weeks
