L190 torn tail help needed

Hello guys, i just bought a piece of L190 but today i just realised that it's tail looks different from the usual L190. It looks torn. And if it is how long will it take to recover? Here are some pics, thanks in advance

It's hard to tell the size of your L190. I would guess 3-4". In any event, as long as no further injury happens it should look normal after a few months. It is only a problem when the top or bottom larger ray is damaged. Those are hard to predict. In the rivers tails and fins are always damaged.

Heres a better pic, size will be around 4 inches. The top part of it's tail seems to be bitten off, does that mean it won't recover?

The tear is far away the base of the tail so it should grow back.

Cool pick up. Should take 2 weeks to a month to grow back it already started to grow back as you can see. This is normal in plecos keeping.
