I never knew this type of moss could grow in a aquarium. I noticed a patch of moss growing in a flower pot. This is what made me think wondering if anyone tried this in a aquarium. Well here is proof.
Good call on passing on it. That link didn't show the experiment past a couple months and long term terrestrial moss is quite different than aquatic ones.
