largest tiger shovelnose catfish & shark

what was the size of the biggest tiger shovelnose catfish you have/had?
what was the size of the biggest iridescent shark you have/had?

has anybody's catfish ever reached the size of 4' or over?
if so, how long did it take? can you tell me the monthly growth rate.

pictures would be awesome, since i need proof!
 
there was a 17-20inch shovelnose at my LPS (On for 20 bucks because it had been there for so long!)
 
I have a two footer in my 210 gallon right now. Im upgrading soon, but he seems happy enough. Still swims around when hungry. STILL growing super fast.
 
I have seen a 20inch in a lfs before - it looks really nice and tasty =)
 
what are you guys talking about(alaska jammin, and ash)
the irid shark, or tiger shovelnose?
 
I have yet to have any fish to exceed the 12" range due to earthquakes and racoons. And I have yet to have a friend who is nutty enough to have a large tank to have a large fish in. The only large fish I see ore at my local pet stores. Some people buy them...their just not my friends :(

But the biggest of these 2 that I've seen have been here:

Tiger Shovel Nose: 3' In Prehistoric Pets in Fountain Valley, CA that had a pond filled with large pacus, retail cats, turtles, and shovel noses.

Irridescent Shark: 4' In Thailand out in the wild and 1 at Sea World.
 
TSN grew at about 1-2' per month, until he was 15", and was killed by a stab wound from a Bull head.
