Hi all,

I need some help, I am in the process of getting new lights for my 210 tank freshwater fish only and small black pebbles. I was looking at he following:

KZKR full spectrum 72
KZKR White/blue 72
Beamswork 72

Do I need to buy two because of the size of the tank or 1 may be enough ?

Are these brands good for the price or is there something better with good price.? I know Current are good quality but expensive/ Any reccomendation ?

Thanks

I’d suggest two lights for the tank. I know a few with Beamswork led light and are happy with it.

Thanks, how about the Current Serene Sun LED for 72. it looks great but will it be enough ?

Looks like a nice light. Kg tropical did a review on it. Should be good enough.

aquarium co-op did reviews on the beams work lights with actual par ratings. They are advertised as "full spectrum " but they did not do well on the par test. I'm assuming your looking to grow plants. The current line of products are overpriced junk, with extra bells and whistles. There's no cheap leds that grow plants well. I would recommend spending more money the first time, other wise your going to have to the second time. I ran two 4' fluval 3.0's on my 220 and had great plant growth.

I run fluval 3.0's on my two main planted tanks and they are great if you want to spend the money. Having said that, I went opposite end of the spectrum once I started running more tanks. The aquaneat blue and white lights from Amazon are great for 36" and under lights, and grow plants pretty well. The only only weak point is the power supplies. I've only had one fail out of six, but the amazon reviews will show you others who have had the same issues, however I contacted CLL pets directly and they sent me updated replacements for all of my lights for free even though only one failed. I also heard good things about the 48" Walmart shop lights so I gave one a try over my 6 foot dovii tank. I wish it was 6000k instead of 5000k but I have to say, for $20 it's pretty dang great, and very bright! I bought two and ended up putting the second one in my garage because one was plenty of light for a cichlid tank with no plants. The only thing is, I run canopies so the light is hidden. They dont look great if they are visible.
