leopard pleco?

got this guy at my lfs can the pleco gurus please help with an ID?

My guess is a sailfin pleco, Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps; see if you can count 10 dorsal fin rays. Here's more info from planet catfish:

No, they don't grow that fast (actually slower than commons ime). Mine (that I got at about 2") grew rediculously fast until it was about 4" (literally a day to day size difference), but after that it grew about 1.5" a month until it got to around 8", and since then it has been growing probably <1" per month (it is now about 13-14" after about a year from when I got it). I've heard of commons getting to 18" in just a year, so no, leopards don't grow faster, but they look 10x better as adults (even though they don't get nearly as big).
