Hi, will be setting up a 75 gallon soon and leaning towards stocking with some kind of "snakey" looking fish. Would like to be able to keep 1 or 2 of them, perhaps with some other tank mates?

What's a really entertaining eel, bichir, or ropefish, that would work in a 75?

I’d suggest some rope fish. Always fun to watch. Can do 5-6 ropes in a 75g.

For freshwater, I kept a species or Spiny Eel. It was sold as “Burmese Zebra Eel”, but I’m not quite too sure on the exact sp. I had a Ropefish too at one point, it was shy at first. I’ve owned two “Dinosaur” Bichirs (I believe they were actually Senegal Bichirs) over the years and those are personable. If you have a saltwater aquarium, I highly recommend getting a Indian Mud Mora Eel and/or a Snowflake Moray Eel.
