malawi eye biter sexing juvenile

Hi all I just got a 10cm juvenile malawi eye biter I was told it may be a male but not sure. I've had a bit of a search on the net but I'm not sure what it is would anyone be able to tell me by these pics? Plz

Let it grow a little more. Depending on dominance you would start to see some blue in the face/Gill area at 4-5".

Here's mines that's about 7", one of my favorites.

While I agree with James as far as giving it some time to mature more, at 10cm if I had to guess I would say female.
