Male dovii 40 cm

I have a male dovii 40 cm in a 120 gallon 450 litre tank now by himself for 3 months and he looks happy and healthy, the tank has a Aqua one 2700 canister filter on it , is this set up ok???

Hi Steve - You are going to need a much larger tank long term as male Dovii can grow up to 30 inches in length and are free swimming fish. At a minimum, you will need a 300 gallon tank with dimensions of 72L x 48W x 24H. Ideally, you would purchase a 500 gallon with dimensions of 84L x 48W x 30H. Dovii can live up to 30 years and are incredibly intelligent so you will need to provide him things to do as well.
