male or female midas (vent pics)

i'm trying to find out the sex of my midas it's about 5" not including tail when it's swimming it looks male to me as it's Genital papilla seems sharp and pointed backwards but i think the pics look more female but i'm not very experienced at venting fish.

this picture is of the fish in the tank, the second is out of the tank.

damn i was hoping for a male ,it's vent looks exactly like my male convict, sharp and pointed towards it's anal fin but looks more female when i vent it.

if you zoom in on this pic you can see the vent is sharp and pointed backwards does it still look female, i'm not saying you guys are not right i just want to be a 100% sure it's female as i wanted a male for a lone fish for my 75 gallon.
