Marbled Gar Care???

I work with a local fish store and we received a few Marbled Gars.
Can anyone shed some light on how to keep these and will they be okay with Silver Arowana or Jardini while young? Or will they compete and fight???

Marbled gars are typically boulengerella maculatas. They are a pike characin. Meaning not a true gar.

Would post a pic as it’s been given the same name for cb Florida gars. So post a pic. Florida gars are fine with silver aros or Jardinis. Tough skin and can handle any aggressiveness. Florida gars don’t need specific water conditions. Can get on pellets easier compared to pike characins.

Pike characins aren’t. They stay small and are slow growers. These will easily be outgrown by a silver arowana. A bit tough to get off of live food. No particular water conditions needed.
