Size- up to 65cm (26inches) though 45cm (18inches) more usual
Temperature-24-28degrees celsius
Minimum tank size- 200 gallons
Diet- not fussy, piscivore
The marbled sleeper goby is the largest goby in its genus growing up to 65 cm making it suitable for very large aquariums, it's temperament is 50/50 some say very good with taskmates to large to be eaten, others say kills everything, my 4 inch marbled goby isn't aggressive but dominates my tank which contains other predatory fish of similar size. Dependent on the personality of your goby and you have a large enough aquarium suitable tankmates include:
Datnoids
Bichir (may not work due to them sharing the same levels)
Silver dollars
Pink tail chalceus
Mala wolffish
Plecos
Peacock bass
Other large non aggressive fish
Feeding- will eagerly accept most foods pellets, frozen foods and live are all taken eagerly.
Although able to survive poor conditions the water quality must be maintained in an aquarium to keep the fish healthy with weekly water changes
