He has been in my tank like 4 weeks and Isnt doing nearly as good. He eats multiple times a day shrimp, clams or crayfish but is otherwise lazy. Does this look like parasites?

This info could help until other members chime inhttps://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...-puffers-for-internal-worms-parasites.711147/

Yeah, as others have already answered, always expect any puffer to come with IP’s as most are wild caught and probably shipped soon after...

The biggest problem with dewormers is getting the dose correctly (not overdosing, lots of bad info on the www), and choosing the right medication as some only target certain forms of worms. As an example Praziquntal is only effective against treating flatworms/tapeworms, but has no effect on various round worms. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/fa091 Levamisole has always been my dewormer of choice.

If it doesn't clear up after the fish is dewormed, then your fish has additional issues. Lots of different types of IP's.

agreed, plus puffers are more sensitive to medication, so it's even easier to overdose on them, I had that issue when I first started trying to deworm puffers.
