I have a creek by my house and i catch alot of minnows down there to feed some of my other fishs (like a longnose gar), but i have never seen a minnow down at my creek bigger than a inch or so. So me and my friend were down there looking for the normal catch when we saw a minnow that was about 6" BIG!!! I was wondering if you guys could identify this guy and what his maximum size is?

yea probably a chub. And becarful using some of those chubs for feeders cause some of them get little horns on the nose area and would do some damage to the insides of a fish that ate it.
I'd say creek chub, fathead minnows only get about 3"

Looks like a shiner with the colors washed out from stress. I've caught creek chubs on hook and line at 12" , a creek chub's mouth is smaller.
