Minnow/rosy red breeding?????

I have a Clown Knife and I would really like to raise my own minnows/rosy reds to save some money. I also want to get an Oscar,but i am already spending $10 a week on rosy reds for my CK. Does anyone know where i can buy some males??

Raising minnows isn't hard but it is time consuming and not cost effective.

Train your ck to eat pellets and prepared foods. It will save you the money and the hassle.

Rosy reds contain thiaminase and you might as well feed your fish cheeseburgers if you're using cyprinids as feeders. Try guppies or any other non-cyprinid species.

i recommend guppies or convicts also. get off those rosey red ASAP

I had 7 Roseys in a pond and ended up with about 50-80 of them(in 6 months) but I agree with convicts, they may produce more in the long run
