What size tank do they need? What do you feed them?

larger the foot print the better. bloodworms, nightcrawlers, small pieces of shrimp or talapia.

But I can tell you you will need a LARGE tank.

The least should be 200 gallons and u could feed them nightcrawlers, blackworms, bloodworms, fresh shrimp, fresh fish. Everything should be alive except the fish and shrimp. You could probably freeze them and pre-cut the fish. Not all of them though, the motoro stingray eat some of them only. They are pretty picky. Just try to feed it anything I mentioned.

dont really agree with that omgfish. captive bred motoros are usuallly not very picky at all. i wouldnt feed anything alive if you dont have to as any of those can introduce parasites. pellots and fresh frozen fish work great and is easy to get. blackworms and bloodworms unlesss fed in bulk for a bigger ray there just isnt enough there and if you feed these too often some rays will get hooked and it is hard to train them onto something else.

also the 200gallon is a little off also. it dosent just matter on how many gallons but alos the footprint. you can have a tall tank but not wide and be 200gal but that wouldnt work for a ray.

i would suggest like grapedinox said and read the stickies alot and dont forget about the search function as this is a great way to do research on specific questions.
