My arowana keep rubbing her face on glass

My fish has a red coloured bump between her barbells and keeps rubbing her face on glass. She is around10-11inch and is currently housed in a 120gallon setup alone ..20190914_221935.jpg

I've seen them do it too every now and then.

I wonder if it is a reflection of self. Try moving your lighting and see if it has any effect. Or turn it off.

But all in all, I don't think it is that dangerous.

Place some, fake or real, plants against the tank walls. Agree with the others.

Besides what others have mentioned just monitor that little bump to make sure she doesn't rub it raw, as that could open it up to secondary infection. Hopefully it's just going through a young, rambunctious stage and will do it less and less.

Also some might advise putting a bit of salt or kattapa leaves in the tank: besides helping to prevent secondary infection, either of these may also likely help to calm her down.
